Add Jon's Home to your Home Screen

Keep the house one tap away and make push notifications work the way they're supposed to. Jon's Home can detect when it is currently opened from the Home Screen and hides the homepage reminder automatically.

About notifications: iPhone and iPad require Jon's Home to be added to the Home Screen before web push can be enabled. On Android, installing it is recommended for the best app-like experience; browser push support can vary by browser.
IPHONE / IPAD

Using Safari

Your device

    Open Jon's Home in Safari.

    Use Safari for the Home Screen setup on iPhone or iPad.

    Tap the Share button.

    Look for the square with the arrow pointing up.

    Choose “Add to Home Screen.”

    You may need to scroll down in the Share sheet to find it.

    Tap Add.

    Jon's Home will appear on your Home Screen like an app.

    Open it from the new Home Screen icon.

    Then sign in and go to Notifications to enable push notifications.

Using Chrome

Your device

    Open Jon's Home in Chrome.

    Make sure you're on the live Jon's Home website.

    Open Chrome's menu.

    Tap the three-dot menu in the browser.

    Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app.”

    The wording depends on your Chrome/Android version.

    Confirm the install.

    The Jon's Home icon will be added to your Home Screen.

    Open Jon's Home from the icon.

    Sign in, then visit Notifications and enable push if you want alerts.

Already added it?

If you're viewing this page from Safari or Chrome, the browser may not know that a separate Home Screen copy already exists. When you actually open Jon's Home from its Home Screen icon, the homepage reminder is hidden automatically.
